SELF and Its Sheaths Choong Chi Pin gives the fifth of his talks based on four lectures delivered by Annie Besant on the 19th Anniversary of The Theosophical Society at the Headquarters in Adyar in 1894. Annie Besant says, "The two sheaths (physical body and etheric double) referred to yesterday are sometimes classed together, and are classed together by Manu, as making the bhutatman or elemental self, that is the self which is acting, for he so defines it. He speaks of it as the self which acts, the corporeal self, as it is translated sometimes into English. The main point, to which I want to draw your attention in passing, is that these two sheaths, with which we yesterday dealt, are the two sheaths of action and are related essentially to the elements ......."

O Lanoo! Hauw Tio Hiong continues his series of talks based on the book O Lanoo! written by Harvey Tordoff. O Lanoo! is a popularized version of The Secret Doctrine written in a poetical style without much commentary in order to spread its knowledge. There are a total of 19 Stanzas. We have covered the 7 Stanzas on Cosmogenesis, and 7 out of 12 Stanzas on Anthropogenesis. In this last session Hauw Tio Hiong will read the remaining 5 Stanzas. Time permitting, we will end with a discussion.
