Wesak Celebration As we normally do, we will have a talk giving a detailed account of the esoteric Wesak Festival including a video recording made by an Australian TV station of pilgrims gathering at the legendary Wesak Valley. Members who have attended this talk previously may be interested to know that we will be showing slides indicating what could be the actual location of the Wesak Valley which is famously thought to be in the vicinity of Mount Kailas. We will then have a guided group meditation for 49 mins. Come and join this spiritual celebration. We shall resume our tradition of serving vegetarian lunch thereafter as part of the Wesak celebration.

The Earth Chain Our VP, Tang Kwok Choon, continues his talk on the evolutionary history of our humanity.
"As moon animals, and some who have become human, we now arrive in the Earth Chain. We look in greater detail the goings on in early Earth Life."

The Hidden Side of Things Our Hon. Secretary, Lily Chong, will give a lecture on the hidden side of things based on the observation of clairvoyants.
“Theosophical students are at least theoretically acquainted with the idea that to everything there is a hidden side; and they also know that in the great majority of cases this unseen side is of far greater importance than that which is visible to the physical eye.
To put the same idea from another point of view, the senses, by means of which we obtain all our information about external objects, are as yet imperfectly developed; therefore the information obtained is partial. What we see in the world about us is by no means all that there is to see, and a man who will take the trouble to cultivate his senses will find that, in proportion as he succeeds, life will become fuller and richer for him.”

International Gathering of Young Theosophists Seven of our young theosophists will be attending the gathering at the International Theosophical Centre Naarden, in the Netherlands from 9 to 15 June 2023 organized by the World Federation of Young Theosophists.
Our Asst. Secretary, Brandon Goh, one of the participants will give us an account of the gathering with pictures and videos.
