Meditation in Action: Finding Stillness
Guided by our Asst. Book
Steward Kristin Lim.
“We often think of
stillness as something we must escape to: a quiet room, a cleared schedule,
or a mind finally free of thought. However, can we learn to see stillness
not as an absence of busyness, distraction or thought, but as a
quality to be cultivated in the midst of life itself.
Building on the
foundational principles of meditation, this talk explores practical ways to
anchor ourselves in the present moment. We just might discover that the
peace we seek has been here all along.”

Training the Mind through Luminous Awareness
What do dreams and waking
experiences have in common? Both are insubstantial, transient and shaped by
the mind’s projections. By realising the dreamlike nature of memory and
experience, we begin to transcend the cycle of mindless dreaming at night
and sleepwalking through the day.
