Hollow Man
We have people among us
who are very alert intellectually and who can create brilliant mind
structures, but from their lives the real warmth and color and thickness of
a mature emotional life seem to be lacking .... These are to be found today
in the lives of people whose apparent mental abilities stand far in advance
of their emotional condition. Does this describe you? Or perhaps someone you
know? Sis. Choong Tsui Wei will share some views discussed by Hugh
Shearman in his book The Passionate Necessity of such “Hollow Man”
who lives in this age.
