The Reality of Discipleship
A talk by our Asst
Secretary, Brandon Goh:
“To what are we
aspiring? The esoteric reality of discipleship is becoming increasingly
distant to the modern aspirant. While books may reveal facet after facet of
this most occult and mystical relationship on earth, we may not realise its
deeper significance and practical aspects. In modern times, the torch of
discipleship continues to shine brightly within the Theosophical Society,
but only 'those who have the eyes to see may see'.”

Module 10 — The Divine
Spark
Our Assistant Secretary,
Brandon Goh, continues A Course in Esoteric Cosmology with Module

sacred in the mundane? We have come full circle and are now ready to unveil
the newest facet of the Ancient Wisdom, the new teaching for self-realisation
in this age of hectic modernity."

Group Souls
A talk by our Vice
President, Tang Kwok Choon.
"A question that is often
asked. Can a human reincarnate as an animal? In order to answer this
question we will have to look at the pre-human early primitive life
forms—minerals, vegetables, animals and their various bodies and the idea of
group souls."

Reincarnation—Fact or Fallacy?
An illustrated talk by
our Secretary,
Lily Chong, giving a comprehensive look at Reincarnation from both the
occult tradition as well as the scientific viewpoint. The scientific
research by Dr. Ian Stevenson of the University of Virginia
will be discussed together with theosophical explanations.
Reincarnation—fact or
fallacy? This is a question asked by many. Members of the Theosophical
Society may or may not realize that the doctrine of reincarnation was
effectively introduced by the Theosophical Society to the West in the 19th
century. Indeed, it is a fundamental tenet of theosophy. Some religions
today have rejected reincarnation as a possibility, rather regarding it as a
heresy. Nevertheless, more and more people are beginning to see the
rationale and reasonableness of the doctrine and how it fits in with the
overall scheme of things. This talk is highly recommended for our new
members. See the
April
2020 newsletter.
