Spiritual and Temporal Authority

Choong Chi Pin refers to one of the London talks of 1907 by Annie Besant. On this subject Annie Besant says:

“As developing humanity begins to evolve its intelligence... they will only find their Kings and Priests where they see (in these people) a wisdom greater than their own, a knowledge which transcends theirs, but is the promise of what they themselves in the future should become. And out of all the birth-throes of the present, and the ugly shapes which humanity takes on, will come the fairer birth of Wisdom, when again it shall sit on the combined throne of King and Priest. For it is necessary that human life should regain its unity, and that again the Spirit shall be known to be master, and the body its instrument, its tool, its expression. And on the upward-climbing arc we have again to come to the same levels that we passed in our downward-going arc of the ages of the past...”

The Etheric Double

Our VP, Tang Kwok Choon, continues his talk on the evolution of the Earth Scheme.

We have seen how the Causal Body is formed, what it looks like, and that its purpose is to be on the physical plane. The mechanics of death of the physical body and that of rebirth. At that point we introduce the Etheric Double, the part that it plays in building the physical body at the time the Ego is reincarnating. Now we explore the Etheric Double  -  the vehicle of Prana, and its relationship with the nervous system. And broadly examine some Chakras, their functions and powers, and how to protect and nurture them.
