Esoteric Christianity

Our Hon. Secretary, Lily Chong, will give a multi-media presentation on Esoteric Christianity—with over 80 slides—based on theosophical literature and reports of occult investigations to unravel the mysteries and myths surrounding the Christian religion. We will take a look at the Christian tradition from the occult viewpoint. In her richly illustrated presentation, she will talk about the historical, the mythic and the mystic Christ and also the inner meaning of the events in the life of the Christ, which in truth is the allegorical life of every Initiate and has its parallel in every religion. This programme should be of great interest to both Christians and non-Christians alike. Hindus and Buddhists, in particular, will find the inner meanings applicable to their own traditions. Through this presentation we will better understand the destiny of man, his goal and the path leading to it.

Members who are interested to know about the hidden side of the spiritual quest will find this week’s programme most useful. Kindly take note that the talk will commence promptly at 5 p.m. Don’t miss the beginning. For members only. Also see article on Esoteric Christianity in the 2005 April newsletter.
