An
Evening with a Centenarian
We have a special guest,
Sister Teresa Hsu, talking about her welfare work, how she keeps up
her health, her vegetarian diet and philosophy of life; how she does yoga
and how she forgot to grow old! Born in Guangdong Province, China in 1898,
she started welfare work since 1930. Self-motivated, she pursued her own
education and acquired professional skills against great odds and in her own
words, is “still hungry for knowledge”.
Heart to Heart Service
is a non-profit, non-government aided welfare set-up initiated by Teresa
Hsu. The Service reaches out to the poor and needy by providing them with
food and monetary assistance every month. Read more about this remarkable
lady in
