Damodar K. Mavalankar

Our VP, Tang Kwok Choon will give a biographical sketch of Damodar K. Mavalankar, one of the pioneers of the Theosophical Society. Damodar was a member of a wealthy Indian family who received an excellent education in English. He abandoned caste in order to devote to the TS which he joined in July 1879. He disappeared for Tibet in February 1885 to join his Master. He was never seen again.
